Beginning Beanies

Hello all!

Today has been.....well, another busy day. This past week has been filled with getting back on schedule with two of the four kids back in school. Many adjustments taking place. The puppy, still not listening... Youngest child, trying to plan "escape" routes from the crib. Three year old, trying to do her own thing. And the 6 & 7 year olds adjusting to school life and homework. Which of course, all means lots of fun for me. Adding to that, the normal life of wife (which I love) and housework.

Anyways, I finally got around to getting a "head" for my hats. I have also previously made hair accessories - to which I will post pics soon. In the meantime, here are the pictures of a few beanies I've made using free patterns. I am still coming up with a price list, if you would like to purchase any of them. Enjoy!

This is the first beanie I've ever made. It's an adult sized hat.

The next two beanies/hats are child hats. (fits children ages 3 - 10 years)

This one is the "Toddler to kids beanie" and I added a flower that I got from a free pattern. Although any flower or other appliqué can be used.

Getting Started...

Well, first blog in the Busy Bee Mom of 4 blog. After all this work on figuring out how to do what; I've realized with all my life craziness I have just added to it.... blogging. On the up-side, it's something I'm doing for me. I hope to get good comments, and/or advice. Where I'll find the time to blog, who knows. But I plan to be here on a regular basis, posting things from the business of being a mom of four, and why for the love of God did we get a puppy (that's another blog), to my hobbies of baking and crocheting. And yes, there will of course be pictures of these creations. :-)
